British American Tobacco (BAT) pondrá en marcha en España el primer proyecto de reciclado de residuos de cigarrillos de Europa con el fin de que puedan ser reutilizados como materia prima en la producción de materiales y elementos que tengan una nueva vida útil, ha informado este lunes la compañía tabaquera.
La SPA de Cornouaille se lance dans le collecte de stylos, avec l'entreprise TerraCycle, spécialisée dans le recyclage.

Madrid, 5 nov (EFEAGRO).- La filial española de British American Tobacco (BAT) ha desarrollado un proyecto de reciclado de residuos de cigarrillos, pionero en Europa, que se pondrá en marcha durante los próximos tres meses con los fumadores del edificio madrileño de Torre Espacio, donde trabajan diariamente cerca de 2.500 personas.
En un comunicado, BAT ha informado de que esta iniciativa, denominada "Apaga y recicla" la pondrá en marcha la filial española de la multinacional TerraCycle, que ha diseñado una metodología para reciclar los residuos de los cigarrillos y ya la ha aplicado en Estados Unidos y Canadá.
TerraCycle har i disse dager en konkurranse gående, kalt Ekstrem ReDesign. Konkurranse går ut på å lage et kaffe-, te- eller kakaoinspirert kunstverk av materialer (avfall) som ellers ikke blir gjenvunnet. Det oppfordres til å tenke ekstremt og utradisjonelt. Fristen for å sende inn dittbidrag går ut 21. november. Bidragene vil bli publisert på TerraCycle Norge sine hjemmesider, der hvem som helst kan stemme på sine favoritter. Avstemningen vil gå over to runder der den første runden vil vare fra 21. november til 28. november, der man stemmer frem de 5 beste som går videre til neste runde. Den andre runden løper deretter fra 28. november til 6. desember. Vinnerne vil deretter bli annonsert 7. desember (min bursdag:).
Og premien? En splitter ny T55 TASSIMO-maskin! (helt meningsløst for meg som ikke drikker kaffe, men… jeg syns konkurransen og TerraCycle er så bra at det er verd oppmerksomheten likevel!)
