小川は、平成２８年第１回定例会において、
「練馬区において、タバコの吸い殻のリサイクル事業を行うべき」
と提案し、区からは前向きに検討するという答弁をもらいました。
そしてこの度、区の素早い対応により、全国自治体に先駆けて実現することができました。
その内容は、以下の通りです。
【吸い殻リサイクルの概要】
区が吸い殻を収集・梱包 → リサイクル事業者に依頼 → リサイクル事業者から委託をされた宅配業者が回収（回収は無料） → 事業者がリサイクル → 回収量に応じて、区にポイントが付与される。（１キロにつき１００ポイント）

メイクアップブリゲードとは、リサイクル会社テラサイクルとメイベリンニューヨークとの協働リサイクルプログラムです。
これまで何気なく捨てていた使用済みの化粧品のパッケージは資源です。
埋め立てや焼却ではなく、新たなプラスティック製品にリサイクルされます。
ブランシェスでは2015年6月より、全国のスタッフへ呼びかけを行い、使い終わった化粧品のパッケージを回収し、リサイクルにまわしています。

In partnership with noted graffiti artists, Leon Rainbow and the Vicious Styles Crew, TerraCycle will host the 11th annual Jersey Fresh Jam, New Jersey’s biggest showcase of urban art and hip hop culture.
