Memorial School is partnering with the TerraCycle Company to recycle juice pouches! All empty drink pouches will be collected in the recycling bin located in the cafe.

Students at Hayden R. Lawrence Upper Elementary have collected more than 17,600 snack bags to recycle, making them top collectors in a free national recycling program created by The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. and TerraCycle.

On the surface, the new playground that was unveiled yesterday morning at the BelovED Community Charter School in Jersey City looks like any other in the city. The playground, which is the first for the school, was built using recycled toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes and floss containers.

To celebrate area recycling efforts, the Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority recognized and awarded 60 county businesses, schools and organizations at the 2014 Centre County Green Business Partner Awards luncheon on Nov. 13.

Members of the Student Environmental Association at Pinecrest High School are among the top collectors of snack bags in The Hain Celestial Group Snack Bag Brigade®, a free, national recycling program created by The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. ® and TerraCycle®. By collecting used snack bags from foods such as The Hain Celestial Group's Garden of Eatin'® snacks, Terra® chips or any other brand, the Student Environmental Association has diverted more than 53,800 units of snack bag waste from landfills, while also earning money for their school or charity of choice.
