Ausrangierte Stifte für neue Spiel- und Sportmaterialien Die Familiensprechstunde kann bei der Behandlung ab sofort auf neue Therapiematerialien zurückgreifen, die durch eine Sammlung leergeschriebener Stifte im Uniklinikum finanziert werden konnten. Bereits seit 2012 sind auf Betreiben der klinikumsinternen Umweltinitiative Carus Green im gesamten Universitätsklinikum Dresden Sammelboxen aufgestellt, in denen Mitarbeiter, Patienten und Besucher leergeschriebene Stifte entsorgen können. Diese werden dann zu neuen Produkten recycelt. Hierfür erhält das Universitätsklinikum zwei Cent pro Stift vom Unternehmen TerraCycle, das auch das Recycling der Stifte übernimmt. Von den auf diese Weise gesammelten 19.500 Stiften und einem Erlös von 390 Euro konnten eine Airex-Matte, ein Kugelbahn-Tower, eine Spielküche, ein Rollbrett und ein Lego-Bauset für die Therapie der jungen Patienten erworben werden.

Dois jovens de Bragança Paulista decidiram participar do Programa Nacional de Reciclagem de Saúde Bucal Colgate, que está sendo promovido em parceria com a TerraCycle.

A campanha faz parte dos programas de coleta da empresa TerraCycle que recolhe esses resíduos para transformá-los em novos materiais. Além disso, o valor arrecadado com esses resíduos será destinado à instituições sem fins lucrativos e escolas públicas.

Did you know that some people throw away items in the garbage that can be used for recycling? Simple things like paper towel tubes, pieces of paper and cardboard boxes are being thrown into garbage bins. In my daily life, I make it my goal to recycle these items, so that they can be reused in different ways. One place where I recycle is my home. My family recycles soda cans, cardboard boxes, old papers, plastic bottles and much more. In my garage we have two bins. One of the bins is a blue rectangle which is used for papers and anything that is made of cardboard. The second bin is a large green bin. That is used for glass bottles, soda cans, plastic water bottles, milk cartons and juice boxes. On Tuesday nights we put the bins at the end of our driveway so they can be picked up on Wednesday at around 6 AM.
