Love Child Organics Giveaway

With my little one being almost 10 months old, we are full on into solids!  While she mostly eats homemade food at home, I love the convenience of baby food pouches for when we are on the go and specifically Love Child Organics which is an organic and nutrition-focused brand.  As well, they are serious about sustainability and they just partnered with Terracycle, an eco-friendly recycling company.    So now, you can send your empty Love Child Organics packaging to TerraCycle (For FREE!) and they are remolded to make newly recycled products like benches, picnic tables and even playgrounds.

This Mom’s Post About Recycling Your Kid’s Markers Is Going Viral

Back-to-school time is almost upon us, and that means you’re probably in the midst of amassing school supplies for your kids. You may have markers on your shopping list — markers for coloring, markers for labeling your kids’ backpacks and more. Just remember that when those markers dry up or run out of ink, you can do more than just throw them away... In addition to ColorCycle, the Prang Power Recycling Program offers collection and recycling services for Prang-branded art markers, and TerraCycle is great for schools or other entities with large amounts of markers ready to be recycled.

Kiwi kids that recycle toothbrushes could win a recycled community garden!

Kiwi kids and students have the chance to win a recycled community garden set by diverting tens of thousands of oral care products from landfill, thanks to a recycling competition run by Colgate and TerraCycle. Between 1 August and 16 November 2018, the Colgate Community Garden Challenge invites pre-, primary and secondary schools nationwide to collect all brands of oral care waste and send it to TerraCycle, who will give the waste a second life by creating new products.

In doing so, the preschool has the chance to win a pack of lunch bags and pencil cases made from upcycled yoghurt pouches, in a national recycling competition called the Fonterra Snap, Recycle & Win competition.
