Public recycling may not have caught up, but almost everything is technically recyclable. An easy solution for our most common waste items, even in an uncertain recycling system, is TerraCycle’s free recycling programs. Sponsored by brands committed to making typically unrecyclable items (such as chip bags, contact lenses, even cigarette butts) nationally recyclable, these programs allow any individual, school, business or community group to reduce landfill waste and earn points for charity.

Free Restring/Recycling Event Sponsored by D'Addario and TerraCycle

Local musicians are invited to attend a free recycle and restring event at the Brass Bell Music Store in Glendale, WI on Saturday, Nov 24, 2018from 10:00:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Sponsored by D’Addario and TerraCycle, musicians can bring any old instrument strings for recycling and get their electric or acoustic guitars restrung with D’Addario NYXL or Nickel Bronze Acoustic strings. Old strings  collected during the event will be recycled through Playback, D’Addario’s free, national recycling program.

Royal Canin, TerraCycle to Help Consumers Recycle Pet Food Packaging

Royal Canin, a global provider in pet health nutrition, has partnered with international recycling company TerraCycle to make the packaging for its entire product line nationally recyclable. For every shipment of Royal Canin packaging waste sent to TerraCycle, collectors earn points that can be used for charity gifts or converted to cash and donated to the nonprofit, school or charitable organization of their choice.
