Zeist - Hoe kun je als gemeente samen met organisaties en burgers in Zeist de krachten bundelen bij het opruimen en voorkomen van zwerfafval? Dat was de vraag die vanmiddag gesteld werd aan o.a. wethouder Roy Luca. Op het gemeentehuis werden diverse ideeën aangeraden zoals: ondergrondse vuilcontainers aan te passen zodat zwerfvuil ook voorkomen kan worden. Jantje Paasman gaf aan dat de Weggeefwinkel Zeist al aardig op de goede weg bezig is. Zo verzamel men voor Stichting Vila Velha leeg blik in bij de Weggeefwinkel en oud ijzer en elektronica. Met gepaste trots werd ook aangegeven dan Weggeefwinkel Zeist zich ook als eerste aangemeld had bij de Fruittella Snoep Brigade. Hiermee heeft zij de primeur voor Zeist van deze inzamelactie van snoepverpakkingen. Jantje Paasman " Het is fantastisch te zien hoe onze klanten en onze vrijwilligers op deze actie reageren. Inzamelpunt Niet alleen bij de Weggeefwinkel aan de Laan van Vollenhoven 2191 kun je leeg snoeppapier inleveren maar ook bij S.B.V. Kindervreugd, Inloophuis vollenhoven en moedercentrum horizon.
