TerraCycle announced the return of its Recycled Playground Challenge – an initiative in partnership with Colgate-Palmolive (“Colgate”), the global oral care leader, and ShopRite, which has more than 250 stores in the Northeast – to help encourage oral hygiene and sustainability among school children and consumers.

GU has also entered into an ambitious recycling program with TerraCycle®, making every single serve packet of gel, drink mix and chews recyclable. “As manufacturers of performance nutrition, there is nothing more deflating than seeing spent gel packets on the road or trail during a run or ride,” said Chamberlain. “While we still need to encourage athletes to stash their trash, we are excited and proud to offer our community a way to recycle our packaging and reduce our and their impacts on the beautiful places we play.”

Nous sommes fier de vous annoncer que l'école a décidé de rejoindre les équipes de collecte TerraCycle, entreprise proposant des programmes de recyclage de produits traditionnellement recyclables. Participer aux Brigades® TerraCycle présente un triple intérêt. Tout d'abord un intérêt pédagogique puisque la mise en place de la collecte de certains déchets nous permet de d'aborder de manière simple les notions de protection de l'environnement et de recyclage avec les enfants.

Les enfants de Thiais récoltent vos stylos usagés

Les minis élus de Thiais ont besoin de vous ! Dans le cadre d’un projet environnemental et social, le conseil municipal des enfants met en place une collecte d’instruments d’écriture usagés (stylos bille, feutres, surligneurs, cartouches…). La société Terracycle, en partenariat avec le groupe Bic, s’engage à recycler ce matériel et à reverser à la Caisse des écoles de Thiais deux centimes par article collecté.
