TerraCycle and Tom’s of Maine are awarding a TerraCycle “Garden Bundle” to the Steamboat Springs store for having the most creative display. The bundle includes recycled plastic lumber for garden beds, watering cans and a selection of TerraCycle garden fertilizer.

Something that I personally love about Tom’s of Maine deodorant is that there are no parabens, artificial ingredients, petrochemicals or aluminum.
Tom’s of Maine also does not test on animals and they use no animal ingredients.
Wendy Caraballo explains. “One interesting thing we do is partner up with Tom’s of Maine to reuse all of their scrap material that accumulates during the tube printing process. They use a third party company called TerraCycle that takes the Tom’s of Maine printed scrap and turns it into colorful tote bags that are sold in specialty grocery stores.
This challenge also resulted in the Green Mountain HQ in Austin gaining an additional onsite recycling option! Next to the batteries, plastic bag and electronics recycling station, we now have a box for toothpaste and shampoo containers and other related materials for recycling through the
Tom’s of Main Terracycle program.
TerraCycle wants your trash, and they will pay you (well, a nonprofit of your choice) to send it to them. They take it, make products out of it, and reduce the growth rate of
this nightmare.
