A new playground is opening in Newark, but it's not a typical schoolyard swingset— it's made from recycled toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes.
Colgate, ShopRite, and TerraCycle teamed up to donate the equipment to the Fourteenth Avenue School. Needless to say, the impact on the community is already huge.
Neil Greenstein, owner of Newark ShopRite: "One of the best things today was the children sharing the joy that they have during breaks in class to be able to enjoy something that so many communities take for granted."
Officials say they want to use the playground to teach students about healthy smiles and a healthy environment.
