First off because it makes them happy. To say my cats look forward to dinnertime is an understatement. Giving them a cat food with better nutrition is one of the best things I can do for Nixie and Milo.
Wellness does whatever it takes to create the healthiest foods for the pets that depend on us. Their dry and canned foods are free from corn, soy and wheat as well as artificial colors and flavors and they are also free of carrageenan.
Have you ever thought about your drinking water? I mean…really thought about it? On one hand, we are incredibly blessed here in our country and we have access to clean, safe drinking water every single day. That is AMAZING. On the other hand, our drinking water is still polluted. It is polluted with things such as lead, mercury, pesticides, chlorine, etc. When you put it this way, our drinking water might not sound quite as great as we once thought.

Because You Asked: Can I Recycle Glass Candle Jars?
Dear Recyclebank: I was wondering if the glass jars that candles come in, such as those that Yankee Candle® uses, are recyclable with regular glass? –Leslie H.
Dear Leslie: If you’re like me, you’ll agree that gatherings on summer nights almost feel incomplete without a candle or two burning. This is especially true if you use citronella candles to fend off mosquitoes. Candles in jars are an easy way to light your cookout, or 4th of July party, with minimal mess, but once they’ve burned down, you’ve got extra waste on your hands.
It pays to recycle.
Ask the students at the Hawthorne Elementary School in Willingboro.
Their hard work paid off in a big way recently when they were able to jump and climb on the new playground they won in the 2016 TerraCycle Recycled Playground Challenge for the first time.
The quest for the new play area began when Willingboro resident Lu-Ann Doyle, whose children and grandchildren attended the school on Hampshire Lane, wanted to get the students involved in a recycling project and help them understand the importance of saving resources and protecting the environment.
And did she ever...

OK, maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but it sure feels like it, especially after all the rain we got last night. We even have our first flowers!
We are experimenting this year with growing the plants upright by containing each in a large tomato cage instead of using a “fence” to keep them from sprawling all over the raised bed. It seems like only a week ago they were still pretty tiny. Now the leaves have topped the second of four rings. I try to push the leaves back into the cage before they get too big. So far it’s working.
I frequently joke that it’s always summertime in Miami, but as we are now in June…it is REALLY summertime! Summertime for this chick means a lot of brunching, long, lazy days on the beach with friends and frequent trips around the world…where I am sometimes caught in very silly photos with fully exposed teeth! As a blogger, most of my life is online, open to the public and very well documented. This means lots and lots and lots of photos. We all know how important a smile is, and I wear mine often…so it needs to be a smile with a nice set of pearly white teeth! After years of smoking (I know, I had a nasty habit for a long time), and a great fondness for coffee and tea, my teeth are not as white as they used to be, and I am constantly looking for ways to change that! I just switched to
Tom’s of Maine Luminous White Toothpaste in an effort to brighten my smile!
WILLINGBORO — Halie Henry joined about seven of her classmates in taking their first trip down the slide of their brand new playground last Wednesday morning.
"It's actually really fun," she said with a smile. "It's better than the older one."
It was the first time the students of Hawthorne Park Elementary School had the opportunity to try out the new playground they won in the 2016 TerraCycle Recyced Playground Challenge. The idea to participate in a recycling challenge came in late 2011, thanks to grandparent volunteer Lu-Ann Doyle.
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Students at a Burlington County, New Jersey elementary school are the winners of a brand new playground thanks to their recycling efforts. The playground itself is made from recycled materials.
The ribbon was cut Wednesday for the new playground at Hawthorne Park Elementary School in Willingboro.
Old tooth brushes, plastic floss containers and toothpaste tubes are among the items re-purposed to make the playground.
