The grange has partnered with TerraCycle and is collecting dairy tubs, Frito Lay bags, juice pouches, keyboards, computer mice, web cams, laptops, digital cameras, MP3 players and ink cartridges. Items can be placed in the large green bin at the grange hall door. Proceeds will benefit local community service projects. All items need to be in grocery bags. For more information call 397-8058.

Although Earth Day has passed until next year, Dallas schools continue to show their support for the health of the environment, community and their student’s education through working with TerraCycle, Inc., the world’s leader in the collection and reuse of non-recyclable post-consumer waste. TerraCycle re-purposes waste like chip bags, pens and toothbrushes into new eco-friendly materials including recycled fencing and biodegradable flower pots and reusable products like jewel cases.
