DURABILIT heeft als Nederlands bedrijf eervolle internationale erkenning gekregen van de prestigieuze jury van de 2015 Circular Economy Awards georganiseerd door het World Economic Forum, Young Global Leaders. DURABILIT laat zien dat Nederlandse bedrijven koploper zijn bij het daadwerkelijk implementeren van de Circulaire Economie. Andere bedrijven die ook Commended zijn, zijn: Closed Loop Fund, NewGen Surgical, Highstreet, MudJeans, Royal HaskoningDHV, TerraCycle en The Agency of Design. De 25 koppige juy (waaronder: Peter Lacy, Global Managing Director of Accenture Strategy and Sustainability; David Rosenberg, CEO of Aerofarms; and Ida Auken, MP & Former Environmental Minister in the Danish Parliament) gaf de volgende boodschap: Competition was very tight, and your entry was Highly Commended by the judges. In recognition of this, and the work that you are doing to advance the Circular Economy, we would like to invite you to become a Guest Member of the Circular Economy Taskforce for 2015. The taskforce meets regularly to hear from circular economy leaders and exchange ideas and collaborate. You will also receive a ‘Circulars 2015: Highly Commended’ graphic that you will able to display on your website so that your achievement can be publically recognised.
