“Vote early! Vote often!” is the old joke about Chicago politics but it is actually the new way to win contests online. The Spencer-Van Etten Middle School Greenhouse Program made a three-minute educational video on the recycling program they run. The students produced and directed the video under the category, “Collect, Store, and Ship.” It shows exactly how recycling takes place in the middle school. The process takes considerable time, so the students were very excited to learn that their video was chosen as one of six finalists in the first-ever TerraCycle Green Globes contest.
