Tom Szaky, dropped out of Princeton University to launch social startup TerraCycle in 2002. The company has since expanded to 22 countries, and has collected 2.9 billion units of waste. Progressive Waste Solutions owns a 20% stake. TerraCycle’s founder and CEO discusses the company’s “triple bottom-line” with Frances Horodelski.
