Alfalfa’s Market here will kick off its second “B’Earthday” celebration by enhancing its recycling program. Beginning Wednesday, customers can deposit used baby food pouches, Tom’s of Maine personal care items and No. 4 plastic bags at the store. Alfalfa’s will send these items to Terracycle, where they will be recycled and made into new plastic items such as park benches, backpacks and tote bags.
