H.L Johnson Earns Money by Recycling

H.L. Johnson Elementary School has earned money and prizes for the school by collecting and recycling the drink pouches used in the lunchroom and at home. The school recently reached the third level of TerraCycle and Capri Sun’s Drink Pouch Brigade milestone contest by collecting more than 40,000 drink pouches. The students have earned more than $3,000 for their school by collecting the drink pouches.

West Ridge Elementary Reaches New Recycling Milestone

West Ridge Elementary students earn money and prizes for their school by collecting and recycling the drink pouches used at home and in the lunchroom. West Ridge Elementary has just reached the second level of TerraCycle and Capri Sun’s Drink Pouch Brigade® milestone contest by collecting more than 18,000 drink pouches. The students have earned over $1,300 for their school by collecting the drink pouches.

Emmorton Elementary Students Earn Nearly $4,000 for their School by Recycling Drink Pouches

Emmorton Elementary students earn money and prizes for their school by collecting and recycling the drink pouches used at home and in the lunchroom. Emmorton Elementary has just reached the third level of TerraCycle and Capri Sun’s Drink Pouch Brigade® milestone contest by collecting more than 40,000 drink pouches.

School Briefs: Madison School District

Last school year, Madison Simis Elementary Green Team students earned money and prizes for their school by collecting and recycling the drink pouches they use at home and in the lunchroom. Madison Simis Elementary students reached the third level of TerraCycle (www.terracycle.com) and Capri Sun’s Drink Pouch Brigade milestone contest by collecting more than 40,000 drink pouches. For their accomplishment, the school earned 50 TerraCycle wristbands and a vinyl banner announcing their achievement.

Thirsty students

Students at St. Paul's Lutheran School must have been awfully thirsty. In the past year, they've collected over 18,000 Capri Sun drink pouches which will be recycled. Their efforts raised more than $2,700 for the school while reducing the amount of trash headed for the landfill. Rachel Zuckerman, a public relations intern with TerraCycle, said St. Paul's students have met the requirements for the second level of the "Drink Pouch Brigade" recycling contest sponsored by TerraCycle and Capri Sun.
