Ms. Byrd's Wayland Elementary 6th grade class sponsored an Earth Day Terracycle contest at Wayland. Students were encouraged to donate terracycle items leading up to Earth Day. All the collected waste items were saved from local landfills and sent to the Terracycle company to be upcycled into new products.
